Seth Daniels and the Wilson Motorsports team made their way back to Atomic Speedway on Saturday night, April 11. The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series sanctioned their season lid lifter last evening at the Alma, Ohio venue and a $5,000 payday was up for grabs in the single-day contest.
In qualifying action, Seth started off his night by posting the third quickest lap overall of the 20 entrants in the pit area. After a second place run in his heat race, Seth rolled off from the outside of the third row in the 30-lap main event. The Jackson, Ohio ace was then running in the sixth position when he was turned around by another competitor on the front stretch on a mid-race restart. He then restarted at the tail and Seth was forced to salvage a thirteenth place showing in the Iron-Man opener. Full results can be accessed online by clicking on www.imdirt.net.
