The 56th edition of the 'World 100' was on tap for Wilson Motorsports from September 10-12 at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The crown jewel extravaganza kicked off with a pair of split-field, $12,000 to win preliminary programs. On Thursday night in the opener, Seth Daniels finished ninth in his Shootout race, which was one mere spot away from a coveted transfer position into his 25-lap feature. On Friday in a similar prelim show, Seth finished eighth in his Shootout race and twenty-fifth in his 25-lapper.
When Saturday rolled around at the "Big E," a sold out crowd - the biggest in the history of the storied track - was on hand to witness the $100,000 to win headliner. Seth moved up three spots during his loaded heat race to place fifth before winding up eighth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the Jackson, Ohio ace was unable to make the start in the famed ‘World 100.’ Full results from Eldora Speedway can be accessed online at www.eldoraspeedway.com.
