The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series sanctioned a pair of $5,000 to win events in the Buckeye State on June 19-20. At Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday night, Seth Daniels placed fourth in his heat race, but a broken crank trigger in the 30-lap main event cost the #S21 team a top ten finish. Due to the mechanical trouble, Seth was relegated to a disappointing eighteenth place showing.
At Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio on Saturday evening, another $5,000 top prize was up for grabs for the ground-pounding Super Late Models. Seth stopped the clock second fastest in Group A during qualifying prior to running a strong second in his heat race. The Jackson, Ohio ace then put forward a solid top ten performance during the 35-lapper and crossed underneath the checkers in the eighth position.
