Seth Daniels Suffers Flat Tire at Ponderosa; Sees Rain at Portsmouth

The #S21 team had a pair of Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series contests on their racing calendar over the July 31 - August 1 weekend.  On Friday with a $6,000 payday up for grabs at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky, Seth Daniels knocked down the eighth fastest lap overall during qualifying prior to advancing to finish second in his heat race.  After starting the 30-lap main event from the fifth spot, Seth unfortunately suffered a flat right rear tire and was relegated to a disappointing fourteenth place effort.

Saturday’s stop at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio was unfortunately washed out by rain showers.  Track and series officials are looking for a suitable makeup date for the $7,500 to win program.  Full results from Friday’s visit to Ponderosa Speedway can be viewed online at www.imdirt.net.
