Seth Daniels and Wilson Motorsports Start Season in Buckeye Spring 50

The Wilson Motorsports team and driver Seth Daniels kicked off their version of the 2026 racing season on Sunday night, March 29 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio.  The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series once again sanctioned the event, which drew 31 competitors to vie for the $15,000 first place prize.

Seth stopped the clock thirteenth fastest in Group A during qualifying prior to running eighth in his stacked heat race.  In the consolation event, Seth finished in the twelfth spot with only the top six transferring directly in the 50-lap headliner.  Unfortunately, some early season bugs with the car kept the team from advancing into the high-profile race, which was won by Ricky Thornton, Jr.  Full results from the annual ‘Buckeye Spring 50’ can be located online by clicking on www.lucasdirt.com.
