Daniels Sixth at 191 Speedway; Caught Up in Wreck at Mudlick Valley

Seth Daniels and Wilson Motorsports spent their Independence Day holiday weekend in the Bluegrass State, as the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series sanctioned a pair of races at 191 Speedway in Campton, Kentucky and Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Kentucky.  On Friday night, July 3 at 191, Seth ran fifth in his heat race and later started the 30-lap feature event from the inside of the seventh row.  The Jackson, Ohio ace then passed seven competitors during the $5,000 to win contest to land in the sixth spot.

At Mudlick Valley on Saturday evening, July 4, a $10,000 top prize was up for grabs in the annual ‘4B4EVER 40.’  Seth suffered mechanical woes early in the night (blew power steering line) and later took use of a series provisional to gain access into the 40-lapper.  He was then headed towards a top ten finish in the race until getting caught up in a big pileup, which dropped him to a disappointing twelfth place showing.  Complete results from both Independence Day weekend specials can be found online at www.imdirt.net.
